Initial power testing using the new MoTeC Mercury “plug-ins” immediately showed the significant improvements that the MoTeC platform on the Mercury 4-stroke family can offer. All data from the Mercury or MoTeC ECU, Dyno torque measurements, cell pressures, temperatures, and the on-site Bosch 5 gas analyser are seamlessly integrated into a MoTeC C1212 for real-time display, warnings, and timestamped logging. The dashboard also controls the switching of the dyno high-pressure water pumps and the two massive VSD extraction fans to maintain fresh air in the cell.
